We really like your cottage; it was clean and very well kept (something we have not had other cottages we have rented).  We felt like we had our own slice of heaven there for that week, and I hope the above dates are available next year.  I look forward to hearing from you soon."

We had a wonderful time at your Lake Front cottage.  The cottage is very nice,
with a lot of homey touches.  The kitchen has everything you would ever need.
The view from the master bedroom is incredible, as you must know. The kids
really like their bedrooms too.  I was continually distracted from my beach
reading because I was so drawn to the view.

I hope we will be able to rent the cottage for the same week next year.

"We really enjoyed your place.

I was able to carry my kayak down the steps and went for a couple of nice paddles.  Larry and our sons went on a 1/2 day charter out of Frankfort and caught 15 large salmon, we cooked on the grill that night and have just smoked some of it, brought lots home frozen.

My youngest brought my Mom up for 3 days and my new daughter-in-law came with my other son.  We swam everyday and walked miles on the beach.

Larry and I brought out bikes and did the Betsie Valley Bike Trail from Frankfort to Beulah and packed lunch. 

We barbequed every night but one and the kitchen was well equipped.

It was a great week!  The guys golfed, too."

The notes above were emails from our guests as they finished their stay.  We've also left a guest book in each cottage for our guests to write about their vacation. Our efforts over the years to make our cottages comfortable have been recognized in the fact that we have never received a complaint (other than "my vacation ended too soon!").

(July 24-31) Fun in the sun and good times for all!

(July 31-August 7)  Beautiful sun sand and sunsets! The *deleted* Family had a blast in our week of fun in the sun! Cards, volleyball, walking on the beach and swimming was how how we spent our days, &  nights by the camp fire! Thanks for the great times and memories."

(August 7-14) Enjoyed some beautiful sunny days on the beach. We had a few cooler, rainy days and explored Frankfort, Manistee and Ludington. Great Restaurant called FUSION in Frankfort and wonderful Italian dinner at Blue Slipper in Onekama. The kids loved the wonderful beach and waves. Our dog Ally enjoyed chasing seagulls on the beach. Hard to leave!

(August 21-Sept 4)  Another great Vacation! All our children got to spend some time as well as Clifford! See you next year for year # 4.

(Sept 13 - 20) We enjoyed our michigan -Arcadia- vacation. We were treated to 20 mph winds & rollers washing on the shore - the noise was spectacular. Beautiful sunsets, cool nights, & the waves breaking on the shore made the vacation very pleasant.

(Oct 8-10)  What a great weekend escape to the Lake Michigan Beach- the clouds blew away overnight Friday, giving us two beautiful, sunshiney Fall days. We enjoyed exploring the area around Frankfort & Crystal Lake, and especially appreciated your great spot here...Thanks much!
